The mission of our office and staff is to offer patients the most caring, most comprehensive, and most effective foot and ankle-related care in the region. The practice is officed in New England Baptist Hospital where Dr. Leavitt has full service treatment facilities accessible to his patients 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Being at the Hospital, both Dr. Leavitt and our patients have immediate access to the full services of a hospital laboratory and operating rooms and, most importantly, can obtain high quality x-rays and MRI's in timely fashion to complete diagnosis and move on to the solution without lengthy delays.

Sue Wennerstrand - Sue Wennerstrand covers the reception desk and serves as assistant to the doctor on Saturdays, and also works as part-time receptionist during the week. She met Dr. Leavitt when she came to the office in 2002 in search of relief from a painful foot problem. He performed successful reconstructive surgery. From the North: Using Interstates 93 or Route 1 into Boston

  • Follow the signs to Storrow Drive Outbound.
  • Follow Storrow Drive West to the Fenway exit.
  • Bear to the left and take the overpass to the Boylston Street/Park Drive Outbound exits.
  • Continue on Boylston Street (right at traffic light).
  • After passing the Star Market on the left, Boylston Street becomes Brookline Avenue (follow signs for Brookline).
  • Stay on Brookline Avenue until you come to a set of lights in front of the Brook House.
  • Turn left at these lights onto Route 9 which becomes Huntington Ave.)
  • At the 2nd set of lights, take a right onto Parker Hill Avenue.
  • Follow Parker Hill Avenue up to the crest of the hill past several red brick buildings on your right to the Main Entrance. Patient and visitor parking are available only at this entrance.
  • Free Valet Parking and handicap parking is available at the Main Entrance.
  • Our office is straight down the hall from the Main, Suite 390.

From the South and West: Using Interstate 95 or Route 3

  • Take Route 128 North to Exit 20A onto Route 9 East.
  • Follow Route 9 East for 5.9 miles until you reach a set of traffic lights.
  • Look for Book House on the right and 1 Brookline Place on the left. Continue straight and proceed under the stone bridge.
  • At 2nd set of lights, take a right onto Parker Hill Avenue.
  • Follow Parker Hill Avenue up to the crest of the hill past several red brick buildings on your right to the Main Entrance. Patient and visitor parking are available only at this entrance.
  • Free Valet Parking and handicap parking is available at the Main Entrance.
  • Our office is straight down the hall from the Main, Suite 390.

From the South: Using Interstate 93

  • Take Route I-93 (the Southeast Expressway) north into Boston.
  • Take the Massachusetts Avenue exit (exit 18).
  • At the 3rd set of traffic lights, turn left. Stay in the middle lanes. This road becomes Melnea Cass Blvd.
  • Continue on Melnea Cass Blvd for almost one mile. Northeastern University will be in front of you.
  • Turn left onto Tremont Street/Columbus Avenue.
  • After .5 mile, Tremont St. takes a right (look for Roxbury Community College and Dominoes Pizza).
  • From Tremont, turn left onto Parker Street (at Roxbury Crossing), then right on Parker Hill Avenue.
  • Follow Parker Hill Avenue up to the crest of the hill. You will pass two parks on your left, and then the Hospital's Main entrance will be on your left. Patient and visitor parking are available only at this entrance.
  • Free Valet Parking and handicap parking is available at the Main Entrance.
  • Our office is straight down the hall from the Main, Suite 390.

From the West: Using the Mass Pike

  • Take Interstate 90 (the Mass Pike) east into Boston.
  • Take Exit 22, the Prudential Center and say in the left lane on the exit ramp. This will put you onto Huntington Avenue heading west.
  • Stay on Huntington Ave for 2 miles until you reach a set of traffic lights by the Mission Park Apartments. Take a left at the lights onto Parker Hill Avenue.
  • Follow Parker Hill Avenue up to the crest of the hill. You will pass two parks on your left, and then the Hospital's Main entrance will be on your right. Patient and visitor parking are available only at this entrance.
  • Free Valet Parking and handicap parking is available at the Main Entrance.

Via MBTA Green Line and Bus #39

New England Baptist Hospital is accessible on the "E" Line of the MBTA's Green Line and on the MBTA bus #39 which travels from Copley Square down Huntington Avenue. For both bus and trolley, exit at Brigham Circle. Cross the street to Tremont Street, walk down Tremont St approximately 1.5 blocks to the gas station on the right. Stop for the Mission Hill link is in front of the gas station.

The bus runs every 20 minutes, Monday through Friday.

The Green Line trains run every 30 minutes, Monday through Friday and 9:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturdays. (There is no Sunday or Holiday service)
